What will I do as a Director of Maintenance and Building Safety for The Wesley Community? Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Maintenance/Security Department, its programs, and activities.
Responsible for ensuring all life safety and fire drill compliance across campus.
Responsible for coordinating in-service life safety training.

, new hire and annual fire safety training) across campus Ultimately responsible for the organizations Emergency Preparedness program and ensuring Emergency Preparedness Manual is maintained to meet NYS DOH guidelines including disaster manuals across campus and conduct yearly Training Assure the performance of tasks required to maintain the condition of the facilities and equipment in good repair, to function properly, reliably, and safely.
Coordinate the general repair, reconditioning, and refurbishing of the facilities equipment, and systems in use.
Develop, interpret, and maintain written maintenance/building safety policies and procedures and update annually.
Maintain Worx hub system through the assignment of tickets, ensuring timeliness of completion and quality of work.
Conduct environmental rounds throughout facility at least monthly to identify environmental areas in need of maintenance and assign work accordingly.
Responsible for the overall grounds of campus, including initiating cleanup following harsh weather conditions, such as trees, snowstorms, blocking of parking lots.
Serve on various committees of the facility (i.
e.
, QAPI, Infection Control, workplace safety, Leadership, Safety, etc.
) and provide written/oral reports of the maintenance services and activities as required by the committee's guidelines or direction.
Lead and coordinate Emergency Preparedness drills and ensure twice yearly drills are conducted to meet the NYS DOH requirements.
Assist in the recruitment, interviewing, and selection of maintenance/building safety personnel.
Determine departmental staffing requirements necessary to meet the maintenance/building safety department needs and assign enough personnel for each tour of duty.
Supervise safety and fire protection and prevention programs by inspecting work areas and equipment at least weekly.
Director of Maintenance and Building Safety Requirements:
High School graduation or equivalency required.
Technical training in associated field, preferred.
Five years' experience in related field, preferred.
Supervisory experience, preferred.
Must have good working knowledge of building construction and maintenance.
Must be knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators, etc.
, as well as various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
Must have the ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Must be knowledgeable in building codes and safety regulations.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
