Summary of Position:
Orders, receives, inventories, and rotates medical-surgical supplies.
Controls costs.
Receives requests, fills orders, and delivers supplies to the original requestor.
Maintains all storage rooms in a neat and orderly fashion.
Maintains par levels for supplies, as appropriate.
Takes periodic inventories to reconcile supply counts.
Processes all paperwork in a timely manner.
Maintains files as appropriate.
Primary Job
Responsibilities:
Prepares all transactions as appropriate.
Maintains the audit trail for purchases, receipts, and receivables.
Orders stock and non-stock supplies.
Follows up until the item is received, accepted, and paid for.
Receives, inspects, verifies, accepts or rejects all supplies and equipment.
Accurately processes all paperwork, documents, GBLs, etc as required.
Coordinates the distribution of supplies.
This includes designating ordering days.
Prepares all items for return shipment.
Maintains neat and orderly files.
Minimum
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one year experience as a materials handler/distributor, medical setting preferred.
Location:
Saratoga Hospital Materials Services Schedule:
Full-Time, Day shift, 7-3/6-2/9-5.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
