Supply Purchasing Associate

Saratoga Springs, NY Saratoga Springs, NY Full-time Full-time $21 - $23 an hour $21 - $23 an hour The Shop Services office at our Distribution Center & Manufacturing Plant in Saratoga Springs, NY is looking to add a partner to the team.
This partner will play an important role in ensuring crucial supplies are available to keep our shops running efficiently.
Duties:
Vendor Management:
o Forecasting and ordering supplies for shops and materials for facilities departments.
o Research suppliers to compare pricing and availability for items.
Maintain accurate warehouse inventory through cycle counts and investigating discrepancies.
Provide support to shops, project managers, corporate construction crews, district staff and outside contractors.
Reconcile shipments and returns from shops and maintenance/construction projects.
Requirements:
Previous buying and/or inventory control experience is preferred.
Knowledge of HVAC/Refrigeration materials and/or parts desk experience is helpful.
Excellent math and analytical skills.
Customer service oriented with strong communication and decision-making skills.
Must have the ability to multi-task, self-motivate, and be detail oriented.
Strong knowledge in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Outlook, and Access.
Schedule:
Full time position available.
Schedule is Monday through Friday 830am-5pm, including some holidays.
Starting pay is $21-$23/hour.
