Vehicle Description 2020 C8 Pre-Production Corvette The all new for 2020 C8 mid-engined Corvettes were first spotted testing in camouflaged livery in July of 2019.
The very first experimental test mules were all assembled by hand in Detroit and carry the EX suffice at the end of the vin number.
Just over a 100 unites were built with the EX and destroyed at the end of their testing tenure.
The second fleet of 500 CTF's (Captured Test Fleet) vehicles were built and driven by General Motors Executives to further the process of fine tuning the totally new design.
These 500 cars can be recognized by the last 7 numbers of the vin number with 5 followed by three 0's and the last three numbers of the vin determining the order of build.
The model consigned is number 471 of the total 500 pre-production models built.
This fully loaded C8 checks all the boxes with nearly every available option provided at the time it was built.
